Should change the title to Joao Almeida Vs Sepp Kuss. We all know Roglic has a hard time staying upright on the bike.

Roglic seems to zone out on the flats (and even hills at times) and strays toward the back of the pack. This is what gets him into trouble with crashes. Regardless of his past success, I just don’t think he’s 100% into it mentally.

I don't know why tiberi is mentioned. Anybody who shoots a pet cat with an air rifle doesn't deserve to be mentioned let alone be in the company of other decent riders His name tarnishes a great sport.

Last year, Visma gifted Kuss the win; this year he’ll have to earn it, and I don’t see that happening.

I don't like UAE but it is clear they have had the strongest team this year. Enough to dominate the likes of Bora, Soudal Bahrain and Visma. So I'm going with Yates. Hope to see Wout and Primoz both redeem their recent underperformance and get some stages.

Del Toro as the UAE favorite is certainly a choice. If that happens then uh we might have a big problem given his age. Lack of (T)TT is also certainly a choice. Thank god for the removal of TTT given that UAE roster.

In terms of the stage, it is the typical tourist stage to promote various tourist sites such as Sintra, Obidos Castle, Alcobaça Monastery, Batalha Monastery (built after the victory against Castile), all of which are recognized by UNESCO. It's not the typical flat stage, although the graph doesn't show much slope, cyclists will spend a lot of time going up and down during this route even if it's not for long. If the pace is strong at the end it is quite possible to cut some sprinters from the end.

Roglič is certainly a great cyclist, however his name is also a synonyme of crash. I always fear when i see him. How can he be so stoïc and keep on believing in his chances? I must admit i can't see him win anymore, but i hope to be wrong!

I think the Vuelta is going to be more exciting than the Tour. These riders are very close in talent and ability. Team dynamics and strength will probably be the difference this year.

Carapaz had a phenomenal Tour. Besides Girmay and Disaster there were only nine stages for anyone else not named Tadej Pogacar. Not winning stages this year is no criticism.
